So at around 11 am today Sgt M called me from the prison. I didnt answer because I have this thing about answering unknown numbers but luckily he left me a message so I called him back. He said he needed me to update some info so I told him I would be there at 2 because I didnt have shit to do at work so I figured I would leave work at noone and shower then have plenty of time to get there. Well my boss Mrs. Jay was being a douche and every time I want to leave early she gives me shit but when I need money and want to stay I have to leave early. So needless to say she was giving me a hard time so I didnt leave work till one. So I drove home as fast as I could and got here at around 1:20 pm, washed with a wash cloth, shaved without shaving cream, changed, and was back on the road by 1:25 pm. So I floored it all the way to the prison and I think I parked my car at 2:05 pm which pissed me off to no end because I hate being late. I walked in the admin building and this 60 year old looking man was for all I know sleeping. Then he took 10 mins to try and call sgt milford, whos office is maybe 5 steps from the front desk, but sgt milford was in the break room. So I felt like an asshole because I had a 2:00 pm appointment and didnt talk to the man until 2:15. But he was friendly like the first time I met him and it turned out I just had to sign some more papers and refill out a paper I had noterized but didnt need to. Then he told me that tomorrow 7/23/08 he will be giving my application to the Warden to review and then I will be 4th in line to get a physical if everything goes well. He asked if it was ok to call my work and I said they didnt really know I was getting a new job and he said he would wait until I got a start date because it could take a few more months to get hired. He then said that he just sent 2 people to get a physical and thats all the people he needed right now but theres 2 classes going on right now and some people might fail out plus the fact that the prison has a crazy turnover rate. So hopefully I will be working there within a few months. He said that after the physical you have 6 months to get a job but he said it shouldnt take nearly that long.
