Long hard road

So I woke up at 8 and took Heather to work which was lame. Then when I got home I started getting ready to go to the Sheriff's office. When I got there I was early because my appointment was at 11:00 am and I got there at 10:30 am so I talked with the lady at the front desk. She was super nice and said she would have to remember my name because if I made it this far I probably have the job. So I gave the lady in human resources my copy of the corrections FBAT for my file and then took the TABE which was a fancy version of the FCAT from highschool. It was basic language arts and math but I have grown to hate math so Im not 100% confident on how I did. So I left there at about 12:00 and went to my moms work to have lunch. I saw Frank Brueton from highschool and we talked for a little while I waited on my mom. He says he works like 4 days a week between Winn Dixie and Sports Authority. He is a really cool guy and I hope we see each other more. So me and my mom went to Lee's and ate and after that I went to the Marion County Employee Health Clinic around 1:30. So I filled out more paper work there and was in with the doctor by 2:00 pm. First he took my height and weight then, we did a vision test where I read off a chart then hee took my blood pressure. He touched my arm and said I didnt have a fever so he didnt check my temperature. Then he made sure I wasnt color blind by pointing at things and asking their color. He kind of threw me off though because he pointed to a blue containe and said, "What color is....... your shirt." My shirt was red but I shouted out blue and felt retarded. He said I looked like I could do the exercises so I didnt have to do that and then I had to take a test where I had to inhale then exhale for as long and hard as I could into a machine. It sucked because I had to breathe out even when my lungs were empty but I passed. Then I had to pee in a cup for like the 5th time in my life so it was very unexciting. Lastly, I had to take a hearing test which is performed in a little box that reminds me of a safe with a window cut in the back of it. So you sit in this box which is all but sound proof and put on headphones and when you hear a tone 3 tims you click a button. The one problem was my heartbeat was ten times louder than the tone but I passed. He said everything looked good all I have to wait on is the drug test and I should be ready for my interview by next week. When I was taking my physical the people said if I plan on having a career in law enforcement I should get my immunizations records from the health department because they will need them one day. So I went straight from the physical to the Marion County Health Department. If you ever need to steal a kid this is the place I suggest to you. There were at least 10 running around with no parents in sight. I think enlish is definatly at least the third language there and more than half the women there were pregnant. The place is awful and I hope I never go back. It took 30 minutes for me to get sent to 3 place in the building for them to print out one tiny paper. So after that I took it back to the clinic so they could put it in my file.
