No work today

So I went for my interview with Chief W today. Got there at 12:45 p.m, my interview was at 1:30 so I got to sit around and watch the news. The interview was short but he inspired me a little. He pointed to several degress on the wall as he asked about my education. I said just a highschool diploma and he said the days of just getting by with a diploma are going away. He pointed out that I wanted to make a career out of the Sheriffs office and therefore must want to move up in ranks so I need to go to college. I told him I was worried that I would have to just take online classes due to shift changes. He told me that he got all his degrees while working for the sheriffs office and that made me so happy because I never met anyone who has done that. I would much rather be in a classroom than doing it all online. So the interview was short, we talked about my family and me and the book I had to read a little. The whole interview was maybe 10 minutes. Then I got finger printed and took my piucture for my ID. So I just have an interview with the Sheriff next week and then I'll be hired.
